- Larry, thank you! That would be terrific. I've heard very good things about Vermont and forgot about the timing of it, which would likely be very good for me next year. I would love to get to a race with a group of runners interested in qualifying - I currently train solo 90% of the time and miss having others to work with. It makes a huge difference. As I get older and slower, it will be very important for me to have company if I am going to have a shot at the standard.

- You are correct about the qualifying window. I should have been clearer. I meant in 2010, not this year. I'm WAY out of shape for this year!
